All zones have finite resources and after repeated scavenging can become Small broken.gifSmall broken.gifDepleted Zones Depleted Zones.

Once depleted only two resources can still be found, the Item wood bad.gifItem wood bad.gifRotting Log Rotting Log and Item metal bad.gifItem metal bad.gifScrap Metal Scrap Metal. You also have a higher chance of finding nothing in these zones compared to undepleted zones.

The only way depleted zones can become undepleted is by "astronomical anomalies". Each night, mysterious winds have a chance of replenishing zones in one of eight compass directions (North East, West, etc). The exact direction is shown in the town's edition of Small gazette.gifSmall gazette.gifThe News Corpse The News Corpse if the town has built the Small gather.gifSmall gather.gifSearch Tower Searchtower.

The Small gather.gifSmall gather.gifSearch Tower Searchtower will reveal the direction of these winds, and with further upgrading increase the chances of zone replenishment.

Level Reward
Base Each zone in the stated direction has a 25% chance to become undepleted
Level 1 Each zone in the stated direction has a 37% chance to become undepleted
Level 2 Each zone in the stated direction has a 49% chance to become undepleted
Level 3 Each zone in the stated direction has a 61% chance to become undepleted
Level 4 Each zone in the stated direction has a 73% chance to become undepleted
Level 5 Each zone in the stated direction has a 85% chance to become undepleted
