Very appropriately named, it is ideal for opening cans. Unfortunately it is a bit too small to properly open up your hominoid chums in the desert.

The can opener is just a low quality weapon, killing a maximum of 2 zombies before it breaks, with 33% chance to kill. Despite its name, it's just as effective as opening cans as any other weapon.
