Once per game, you can give 1 Hero day to a fellow citizen ! Just wait, you'll become a veritable messiah for the masses... NB: any hero days you give away will be taken from your total, simply go to another citizen's page to give them a Hero day. Warning: When you donate a Hero day, it is only valid for THAT DAY. It cannot be saved for another time. | |

Brothers in Arms allows Heroes to gift a single hero day to a Resident, once per town. It is not considered a heroic action, allowing a hero to still use a power of their choice on the same day. You must be within the same zone in the World Beyond as the recipient or in Town with them. A button appears next to the names within game views. The day will be deducted from your total.
Notes
- If a Citizen has already been a Hero sometime prior in the current town, they are not allowed to choose different profession than the one adopted first.
- You have already been a Hero in this incarnation _____: you must continue where you left off not so very long ago.
- Following the Armageddon, Epoq, the acting administrator of Die2Nite among other MotionTwin games, had issued Compensation to those affected. That included a hero day for everyone (loss of which the player base had been complaining about), even Residents. The latter, however, had not become heroes, but still had a hero day accounted on their souls. And so, most of the residents had turned out to be "immune" to further gifting via Brothers in Arms. Hero days also can't be given to other heroes anymore. The developers did not make a fix, so the only way of curing the state is being awarded with hero days via the Last Man Standing, or buying the subscription proper. This problem and the lack of fix to it have contributed to the general unrest that followed the poor implementation of Season 5.
- The issue has been resolved on 8th June, two months after the incident, by granting every player two free hero days. In turn, Hero mode triggered made any Armageddon Witness able to use up one day that could not be used before.
